Currently builders have a statutory commitment for structural defects on a project for 6 years. Other insurers subsequently hold your assets (or bank guarantees) for 6 years as security. Therefore, when you retire, those current insurers still have a hold over your assets! Your assets are not your own, even in retirement! Under the ABS system, YOUR ASSETS REMAIN YOURS AND ARE NEVER ENCUMBERED.
   
   
2. Under the ABS system, checks and balances are put in place to ensure the quality of a project. Clients today are looking for security, quality and peace of mind. As an ABS subscriber, you have an independent company helping you service your client. Certificates are issued throughout the project after each inspection, reassuring your client the project has been finished in accordance with the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards. NO OTHER INSURER PROVIDES THIS SERVICE TO BUILDERS liKE ABS.

The ABS office is staffed by builders with professional experience. When you pick up the telephone to discuss your project, you have the confidence that our staff understands your needs and can offer professional advice on projct difficulties should they arise. We are not bound by corporate 'red tape' and can react quickly to builders' needs. NO OTHER HOW PROVIDER CAN OFFER THIS SERVICE.
   
   
4. Builders under the ABS system will have the opportunity to quote on all projects that are presented to them and not be limited by project caps or annual turnover caps required by other insurers. UNDER THE ABS SYSTEM THERE ARE NO LIMITS ENABLING YOU TO MAINTAIN A COMPETITIVE EDGE OVER OTHER BUILDERS. You have the freedom to build again.
